Important Notice — Demopulse Is Not a Government Application
Demopulse is a private, independent platform for citizen opinion about political news, public affairs and commentary from people using the application. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Demopulse is not a government application and does not represent any government entity. Demopulse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or operated by any government, and is not used on behalf of any public authority, ministry, agency, municipality, embassy, regulator, electoral authority, court, police service, consulate, public institution or elected official. Demopulse provides no government services. The app does not facilitate access to public services, does not process any administrative request, does not issue any official document, does not collect any official form, does not manage any public benefit, does not provide any legal or administrative advice, and does not replace any official government website. Demopulse lets people using the application follow political news, read public discussions, and share citizen opinions under a pseudonym about public figures, public decisions and current events. Demopulse is centred on commentary, discussion and citizen expression. When content concerns public affairs, people using the application should always verify official information directly with the relevant government websites and public institutions. When a discussion in Demopulse is based on a news article or an external public source, the app may display or link to the original source so people using the application can consult it directly. Demopulse is never the official government source of any government information. With Demopulse, people using the application can: • Follow political news and public events through discussion • Read conversations about current events and public figures • Rate the perceived impact of political leaders and other major public figures • Share citizen comments and opinions under a pseudonym • Explore other people's reactions Demopulse is intended solely for information, commentary, public discussion and citizen expression. The content available in the app does not constitute official government information, legal advice, administrative guidance, emergency assistance, electoral guidance, or public-service assistance. Demopulse does not allow people using the application to: • Request or manage public benefits or services • Submit official forms, claims, complaints or administrative requests • Access passports, visas, permits, licences or identity documents • Pay taxes, fines, public fees or government charges • Register to vote or complete official electoral procedures • Communicate with an administration through an official channel • Obtain emergency, police, judicial, immigration or consular assistance through the app Demopulse is designed for people who want to follow political news and take part in public conversation in a structured way. Its purpose is to support citizen observation, commentary and discussion — not to replace governments, institutions, public services or official sources. 1. Introduction
Demopulse is a live public-opinion platform where people rate and comment on the actions of public figures, such as politicians and government officials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Demopulse, you confirm that you are 18 or older and you agree to these Terms of Use. Some features — commenting, replying, rating and following public figures — require a free Demopulse account. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. What Demopulse Does
Demopulse gathers short opinions and star ratings from many people and uses automated systems (artificial intelligence) to turn them into aggregated summaries — a live pulse of public sentiment about a public figure. These summaries reflect the opinions of people using the application, not statements of fact. Demopulse does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for any opinion shared on the platform, and does not represent any government, party, or candidate.

3. Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address, which we verify with a one-time confirmation code. You choose a unique public pseudonym and a pixel-art avatar. Pseudonyms are screened by automated moderation: offensive, hateful, impersonating, or non-identifiable names (such as "Anonymous" or equivalents) are rejected, because every contribution on Demopulse must carry an identifiable public name. You are responsible for everything done through your account. You control your email preferences: follow-digest and marketing emails each include a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in, and you can also manage them from your profile; essential service messages (such as sign-in verification, security, and moderation or account notices) are not marketing and are always sent. You may delete your account at any time from your profile; deletion is permanent and removes your personal data and content as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Rules for Content
Demopulse has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You must not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, that incites violence or illegal acts, or that otherwise violates the rights of others. Genuine, good-faith political criticism, satire and humour directed at public figures are welcome — cruelty, hate, and abuse are not. To keep conversations thoughtful and reduce spam, each account may post up to three (3) comments or replies per day. We may change this limit at any time.

5. How Content Is Moderated and Your Responsibility
Comments and replies are user-generated. Before a comment is published it is automatically screened by our moderation for severe, objectionable content. If it is rejected it is not published: the compose box shows a generic notice asking you to revise it so it complies with these Terms, and — to prevent repeated attempts — you cannot submit or re-check another comment for two (2) minutes. A comment that passes the screen is published immediately, and you alone remain responsible for what you post (Section 4). Moderation remains complaint-driven after publication. Any comment or reply can be reported by any account (Section 6); reported content is reviewed for severity and, if it breaches our standards, removed from the Service for everyone — immediately — while its author is subject to warnings, suspension and, ultimately, account deletion (Section 7). Content removed for a severe violation stays removed for everyone. No automated system is perfect: some objectionable content may pass the initial screen (which is why reporting exists), and some content may be screened out incorrectly. There is no setting anywhere to reveal removed content. You may contact us at contact@demopulse.com to contest any decision.

6. Reporting, Blocking and Hiding
You can report any comment or reply you find objectionable. You can hide an individual comment so you no longer see it, and you can block another person using the application so that none of their content is ever shown to you again. Reports are handled as described in Section 7. These tools are available on every comment and reply throughout the app. You cannot report or reply to your own content.

7. How Reports Are Handled, Warnings, Suspension and Account Termination
When a comment or reply is reported, it is reviewed for severity against recognised objectionable-content standards — including hateful, defamatory or mean-spirited attacks on protected groups, incitement to violence, illegal-weapons content, sexual or exploitative content, inflammatory religious content, knowingly false information, and content that exploits tragedies. Genuine political satire and humour are not treated as severe. The review normally happens immediately, the moment you report; if our systems are briefly unavailable it is completed shortly afterwards. In every case you are told the outcome right away, in the app — we no longer email report results. A comment that has already been reviewed twice by our systems (once when posted, once on a report) is not reviewed again: anyone reporting it is told it was validated by our AI and invited to contact us at contact@demopulse.com. — If the content is NOT judged severe, it stays on the platform and no further action is taken. It is not reviewed again on any later report, and the reporter is told, in the app, that it was reviewed and validated by our AI (with a way to contact us). — If the content IS judged severe, it is permanently removed for everyone, together with any replies to it, and its author receives a formal warning by email. Warnings are counted per calendar year. You may receive up to two (2) warnings in a calendar year. A third (3rd) confirmed severe violation within the same calendar year results in a 30-day suspension of your account: you can no longer sign in, and your content is hidden from the platform, but your data is kept during this period. Because these decisions are automated, you may contest a warning or a suspension by contacting us at contact@demopulse.com; if a suspension is overturned, your account and content are restored. If a suspension is not overturned within 30 days, your account and all of your content are permanently deleted. We may also act manually where appropriate.

If it is serious (hate, threats, and so on), it is deleted everywhere and the author gets a warning email. You can get 2 warnings in a year; a 3rd serious violation the same year suspends your account for 30 days — you cannot log in and your posts are hidden, but your data is kept so you can appeal at contact@demopulse.com. No successful appeal within 30 days means the account is deleted for good.
8. How Your Contributions Appear
Your comments, replies and ratings are displayed publicly next to your chosen pseudonym and avatar. Your email address, date of birth and real identity are never shown publicly. Individual opinions are also combined by artificial intelligence into aggregated summaries and statistics about each public figure. By posting, you grant Demopulse a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and aggregate your contributions for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. Aggregated summaries contain no personal data and may be retained even after your account is deleted.

9. Artificial Intelligence in Demopulse
Demopulse relies on third-party artificial intelligence services for several features: screening pseudonyms and moderating content, assessing the severity of reported content, generating the aggregated opinion summaries, producing contextual news about public figures, and creating illustrations. Details of the providers involved and the data shared with them are set out in our Privacy Policy. Artificial intelligence outputs may contain errors or omissions, do not reflect the views of Demopulse, and must not be treated as statements of fact.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Demopulse is not responsible for content generated by people using the application or for insights generated by artificial intelligence, which do not constitute factual statements or official assessments. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Demopulse and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Legal Compliance and Independence
Demopulse operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It is an independent platform, not affiliated with any government, political party or candidate, and does not engage in foreign influence activities.
